TurningPoint Women’s Healthcare is a non-profit 501c3 healthcare organization that was established in 2003 in response to the unmet survivorship needs of women with breast cancer in Greater Atlanta. Since inception, we have cared for over 1,000 women with breast cancer. TurningPoint’s clinic provides specialized and evidence-based rehabilitation for women with breast cancer, including physical therapy, massage therapy, counseling and nutritional counseling. The collaboration of clinical services provides each woman with hope, support and education in an atmosphere of wellness.
Clinical expertise, compassion and state of the art rehabilitation care are cornerstones of TurningPoint. Staff members bring a passion to this field and many have been personally touched by breast cancer.
The results of new research studies related to survivorship issues are incorporated into clinical programs and shared widely through newsletters, online sites and education programs.
TurningPoint is committed to serving ALL women with breast cancer. A financial assistance program is offered to women who are uninsured and/or underinsured. We offer services in Spanish and have outreach programs that serve inner-city and minority women.
In addition to hands-on clinical care, TurningPoint promotes and advocates standard referral to rehabilitation for all women with breast cancer locally and nationally.
