Jason A. Bernstein is a partner and co-chair of the Data Security and Privacy group at the law firm of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. His practice focuses on data privacy, technology transactions, and intellectual property. He has an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Vanderbilt University and his law degree from the University of Miami. Jason has been practicing law for 37 years. He has had his own law firm, been in-house counsel with two companies, and has been a director of business development for a large contact lens manufacturer.
Jason has served on the board of directors of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, HealthMPowers, the Georgia chapter of the Product Development and Management Association. He is currently the Chair of the Privacy & Technology Section of the Georgia Bar. He is also on the advisory board of Public Broadcasting Atlanta (WABE/WPBA), Dad’s Garage Theatre Company, and the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta.
