Donating

TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation is a non-profit organization. We rely heavily on grants and donations to provide services for breast cancer survivors. Many of the programs that we offer are free of charge and only available through the generosity of others. If you have friends or family members who ask how they can help, please keep us in mind. We can provide you with brochures, a copy of a letter requesting funds or any other materials you need. Gifts of any size are greatly appreciated and can be made by check or credit card. All donations are tax-deductible.

Appreciated stock

Donating long-term appreciated stocks directly to TurningPoint is a great way to support women with breast cancer and realize additional tax savings at the same time. Rather than selling stock assets and donating cash proceeds, a charitable contribution of long-term appreciated securities is one of the most tax-efficient ways to make a donation. The donor does not pay long term capital gains tax on the appreciation of the stock and since it is donated rather than sold, capital gains tax no longer applies to the stock.
