Jason A. Bernstein is a partner and co-chair of the Data Security and Privacy group at the law firm of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. His practice focuses on data privacy, technology transactions, and intellectual property. Jason has been practicing law for 42 years. He has an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Vanderbilt University and his law degree from the University of Miami.He has had his own law firm, been in-house counsel with two companies, and has been a director of business development for a large contact lens manufacturer.
Jason has served on the board of directors of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, HealthMPowers, the Georgia chapter of the Product Development and Management Association. He has been the Chair of the Privacy & Technology Section and the Intellectual Property Section of the Georgia Bar. He is currently on the advisory committee of Public Broadcasting Atlanta (WABE/WPBA), Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, and HealthMPowers.
