Tia was born and raised in the metro Atlanta area, where she developed a deep connection to her community through hands-on involvement and volunteering. Her experiences working with various organizations ignited her passion for helping others and ensuring that every voice is heard, no matter the circumstances.

Driven by this passion, Tia pursued higher education at the illustrious Fort Valley State University, an esteemed Historically Black College and University (HBCU), where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Throughout her academic journey and beyond, she honed a wide range of skills that she now shares with the TurningPoint Family, making meaningful contributions to their work and mission.

A fun fact about me is that I love to dance and sing, even though I can’t sing!
