Exercise has the potential to reduce the risk of breast cancer recurrence and improved survival by about 40%. Physical activity recommendations include achieving 150 minutes of moderate or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic exercise per week, stretching, and strengthening major muscle groups at least 2 times per week. However, studies show that less than 13% of patients with breast cancer achieve this recommendation.
